Home!

We are home! We got home this morning after 25 hours worth of travel. The Lord has done great things and we look forward to having conversations with you about what we've seen and experienced the Lord doing in Thailand. Thank you so much for your prayers and support!! You will never know how important that has been for us.

24 Hours from Heading Home

I just heard from Curt and things are still going well. They had a great time in the village and made a lot of positive contacts and conversations with a lot of the people.

They are 24 hours away from making their trek back home and wanted you all to know that they are all doing well.

It's Monday, and all is well!

Curt called me a little while ago and said that they do not have internet access where they are. So, he asked that I post an update today on their behalf.

Praise that they are all doing well! When I talked to them, they were exhausted and about to go to bed after a long day of working hard on some construction projects. Yesterday was their "fun day" where they went into the village and even spent some time with baby tigers.

More updates will be passed on to me in the coming days, but that is all for today. Thanks for your prayers!

36 hours to take off...

It's hard to believe the trip is here! Each member of the team is extremely excited (and a little nervous) as we try to finish up our final preparations for the trip. Many of you have been asking what we will be doing while we're over there so here is a brief rundown on what's going on:

We'll fly to Bangkok and spend a few days ministering there. working with kids and teenagers as well as ministering in a local church on Sunday morning. Monday we'll fly to Chiang Mai in the northern part of Thailand and spend the majority of our trip in an orphanage there called Care Corner Orphanage (here's their website: http://www.carecornerorphanage.com/). We will work with the kids in the orphanage as well as help build a terrace during the day while they're at school. On Wednesday we'll head off to a village to spend the day working with their kids and participating in a worship service that evening. So we will be extremely busy ministering to kids of all ages, leading worship services, and putting in some physical labor along the way.

Please continue to pray for us as we work through final details and the anticipation of the trip!

With grateful hearts,

Thailand Team
